This is a hand painted genuine vintage needle case made from turned wood. Extremely tactile with three stained wood sections and two natural wood sections with red and green painted flowers. A lovely piece of sewing history making a great gift for vintage-loving crafters.
It measures 19cms (7") in length and 2.5cms (1") in circumference.
In good vintage condition, it has been well loved and the painting is very faded as is the staining and there is an almost 2cm chip in the wood at the rim edge of the top piece which only adds to it's vintage charm.
