This lilac coloured vintage tea room bib apron is made from cotton with lace decoration around the bib and with a lace insert along the length of the lower skirt. The bib has to be pinned to the wearers top. This is where the word pinafore (pin-afore) comes from, so called because it was pinned to the front of the dress or blouse. A lovely vintage bib apron.
The waist measures 169cm (66.5") from the tips of the ties. It measures 89cm (35") in length from top of bib and the skirt is 76cms (30") wide.
In good vintage condition. Not sure if this apron should originally have been white but it is a pretty colour. The colour is a little uneven and slighty faded in places.
