A beautiful 1950s evening bag made from a black shimmering material decorated with gold glass beads in a zig-zag pattern and looped gold seed beaded tassels around base. The bag is slightly padded with a simple gold-tone frame and twist clasp. It has a chain handle which can be folded away inside the bag if preferred. Inside the bag is lined with black satin fabric and there is a mirror pocket and a label which reads - Exclusive Rubella London Model, Made in Hong Kong. A collectable evening bag which would add vintage charm to your outfit.
It measures 16cm (6.5") wide, 15.5cm (6") high (excluding the handle).
In good vintage condition. Three of the long beads are missing but you have to really look to see where, in my opinion this does not detract from the look of the bag and they could easily be replaced.
