A decorative black beaded and sequined 50s evening bag. It is covered in black sequins and tiny black glass seed beads arranged in a diagonal pattern. It has a gold-tone metal frame and kiss clasp with a hinged chain handle which can be tucked inside the bag to allow it to be worn as a clutch. It is lined in black satin with a mirror pocket. There is a label which reads Hertford, Made in Hong Kong, although I am unsure this is original as it has been glued in. A beautiful vintage evening bag.
It measures 16.5cm (6.5") wide and 12cm (4.75") high.
