Really unusual macrame, tasselled, 70s evening bag lined with beautiful deep purple and gold/yellow floral design silk. (More purple than colour in photo.) The edges are decorated with cobalt blue and yellow large cubed ceramic beads, the yellow ones are crackle glazed. The top is threaded with a gold-tone snake chain, which meets in the centre to form a cute double handle. An extremely cute vintage evening bag.
It measures 19cm (7.5") across the top and is 16cm (6.5") high from top to point at bottom, not including tassels, tassels are 7cm (2.75") long.
In very good vintage condition. The lining has frayed a little at edge, nothing major.
