This quality ladies leather 70s attache case is made by Italian designer Cesare Piccini. It is made from a dark chestnut brown shiny leather with silver-tone metal fitments. It has two sturdy carrying handles and the front flap closes with a stud and opens to reveal a spacious deep gusseted pocket. The back also has a full width open pocket. The case has three covered metal frames for it's two wide gusseted compartment with unusual clasps each side. The back compartment has a large zipped pocket and stamped on this in silver is Cesare Piccini, Made in Italy. Inside this pocket is a double sided mirror with the Cesare Piccini logo which is a CP intertwined and this is etched onto one side of it. This roomy, heavy weight, quality vintage attache case would make an ideal accessory for the modern business woman.
It measures 37cms (14.5") wide, 28cms (11") high not including handles and 5cms (2") deep with deep side gussets.
In very good vintage condition with surface blemishes to the leather and a couple of scratches to the back which in my opinion give this case a lovely aged and vintage quality.
