A beautiful genuine vintage 1930s tooled leather handbag by Salisburys. The front of the bag is intricately patterned in orange, brown, red and gold. The bag and its handle is made from a very dark, almost black, blue soft leather. It has a brass frame and clasp which opens to reveal a blue fabric lined interior with an attached coin purse and small mirror pocket. It has a fabric label which reads, Salisburys Leather Specialists. A gorgeous and collectable vintage handbag.
It measures 16.5cm (6.5") at the widest point and 16.5cm (6.5") high excluding the handle.
In good vintage condition with some cracking to the leather (see photo) and some signs of wear only to be expected with a bag of this age.
