A highly decorative white metal genuine vintage nurses belt buckle depicting Matsya. Matsya is the incarnation of Vishnu as a fish, Matsya is generally represented as a four-armed figure with the upper torso of a man and the lower of a fish. It has a hook fastener and secure bars on each side for attaching to a belt. A wonderfully intricate vintage belt buckle.

It measures 9cm (3.5") wide.
